Do you make a SnapPad for tongue jacks?Updated a year ago
We do! Tongue jacks come in a variety of sizes. This guide can help you pick the right SnapPad for your particular TJ. Look for tips for easy installation at the bottom of this article as well.
- Our SnapPad XTRA is compatible with Lippert/LCI®* Smart Jack tongue jack with a 9" foot, which tends to be installed on some newer travel trailers.
We also have a line of SnapPad Mini pads for smaller, round tongue jacks.
Please keep in mind there is no standard jack that manufacturers tend to use so it is important to confirm the size of your tongue jack to ensure a perfect match**.
SnapPad Mini 5.5 fits on 5.5" round jack feet as its name suggests. Some popular brands of tongue jacks that will work with the Mini 5.5 are Stromberg Carlson®, LCI Tongue Jack®, and Husky®.
SnapPad Mini 6 works on 6" round jack feet and is compatible with BAL®, Bigfoot Hydraulic Leveling System®, and Ultra-Fab® jack feet.
SnapPad Mini Square 5 works with round jack feet that are 5 3/4" (Yes, this pad is compatible with a round foot!). We often see this size of jack on Reico Titan® systems.
Tongue jacks that are 5 7/8" are currently not compatible with any SnapPads.
To properly install a SnapPad on your tongue jack, your rig has to be hooked up to the tow vehicle as it will require additional weight and pressure to install. This is because SnaPads will fit very tight. If you are having issues, please re-measure the foot with the jack lifted to be sure the pad is the correct size.
**Measuring the foot is best done with the jack raised slightly so the measurement can be taken on the bottom of the foot, however, if you have 2 straight edges, you can place those on either side of the foot and find the exact diameter measurement that way.*Trademark is owned by mark owner.
