SnapPads and freezing weatherUpdated a year ago

SnapPads have been lab-tested for extreme heat and freezing conditions from +120°F to -40°F. They are made from recycled tire rubber, so much like your car's tires, we don't expect them to freeze to the ground during freezing weather, and in fact, they should help provide your rig with increased traction in icy conditions. The metal landing foot is likelier to stick to the freezing ground than the SnapPad.

To date, we have had no negative feedback from using the pads during winter weather conditions. We would imagine if your rig sat in 4-5" of water which then froze that perhaps the pad could become frozen to the ground, but we have no feedback on that happening among the thousands of pads currently in use.

As the pads are used coast to coast throughout the year, it appears they can withstand most normal conditions of temperature changes, both hot and cold. If your rig is going to be parked for a length of time and could experience both rain followed by freezing, you still have the option to use an alternative like wood beneath your pad, if you wish.

And of course, to give you total peace of mind, you have a 2-year warranty in case you ever do have a problem.
